Annual Event:
Second Saturday in June
A German heritage, family celebration. Some of the events include the early morning Volkmarch and Road Race. During the day there are heritage contests, games, demonstrations and displays. The day concludes with a large German dinner, Polka dance and American street dance. Two large beer tents provide seating and shade during the day.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Usually the Friday before July 4th
Celebrate this American holiday with friends and family. Evening activities include softball games, a free-will donation supper and dessert, and a magnificent fireworks display.
ST. NICHOLAS DAY
Annual Event:
December 6th (St. Nicholas Day in Germany)
Many businesses around town have an open house all day, offering snacks, cookies, and hot drinks. Then Santa rides in on a horse-drawn wagon and settles down by the corner of Waypoint Bank where children can enjoy hot drinks, snacks, and pictures with Santa.
